Hohenwald Marketplace is the place to find
Unique items from area crafters and small businesses!
Open Monday thru Saturday from 10AM to 4PM!
The Hohenwald Marketplace is an interesting combination of a not-for-profit "small business incubator" retail location giving area small and micro-business owners the chance to learn and grow their operations. It also serves as a Welcome Center hosting the Visitor Center of the Chamber of Commerce offering information on local events, activities and businesses.
The Marketplace is now set up in the beautifully restored 1898 Hohenwald Train Depot. The depot was added to the National Registry of Historic Places on May 14, 1987 but has often been inaccessible to the public. Now, through the efforts of the Historical Society, the Lewis County Natural History Museum, the Hohenwald Chamber of Commerce and the Hohenwald Marketplace, visitors to our area will be able to come in and experience a bit of local history, check out the exhibits, browse the local wares offered for sale, or just chill out and surf the web in the depot or outside on the spacious train platform. Come and check it out!
In the meantime, check out the rest of our website for vendor information, calendar of events and our online store to see a small sampling of the wonderful items our vendors have to offer.
Hours of Operation:
